FAQs
Why should I choose Elevate Dance Studio for my child's dance education?
We are a family owned and operated studio in the Spring Hill community. We offer quality dance education in a fun, non-competitive, and nurturing environment. With our professionally certified, friendly, and reliable faculty we have developed a reputation for being a studio that provides solid dance training, exceptional performance opportunities, and a place where friendships are built that last a lifetime.
What can I expect in my child's dance class?
Whether a recreational or competitive dancer, you can expect an organized dance curriculum that is age and level appropriate for each child. Along with appropriate class size, experienced teachers and assistants, you can expect to learn correct technique and terminology in a fun and friendly environment.
Does my child need to wear a uniform for dance class?
Yes, Elevate does have a dress code requirement for each dance class because we feel strongly that dance is a discipline. Just as if your child were involved in cheerleading, karate, or any sport where a standard must be upheld, the same applies for the art of dance. Dancers work harder and stay more focused if they are properly dressed for class.
What are Elevates facilities like?
Elevate has two clean, and fully equipped dance studios. Professional flooring, air-conditioning, double barres, multiple walled mirrors, and variable speed music stations are featured in each classroom. We offer off-street parking and easy student drop-off along with closed circuit classroom viewing in our front lobbies that does not distract students in class. We offer two restrooms, a baby changing station and water station. Our students and families are invited to patronize Viking Pizza, Revive 615 Salon and Anytime Fitness.
Does Elevate have a competitive team?
Yes, we offer both a full time and part time travel team for ages 5 and up. Our companies also participate in local community events and performances. For more information you may visit our Company page or reach out to us via email at info@elevatedancetn.com
Who do I speak to regarding registration and other questions?
Our professional studio staff is available for you during our business hours. Our front desk is located in the lobby with either Miss Kadie or Ms. Rylee and Ms. Julie, our office manager, is happy to help with any and all questions. Our Director and teachers are always available for a private consultation regarding any student. Kindly call the office at 931-255-7314 so that we can arrange a mutually convenient time to discuss any situation.
How does tuition work?
Tuition is based on the class time and is due once a month. An example would be a 45 minute class is $55 a month. We operate on a 10 month schedule and accept registration throughout the year. Elevate does require all students be enrolled in auto-draft by ACH, Debit or Credit Card. You may always pay your tuition before the 1st of the month by cash or different card is desired.
Do you offer an end of year show?
Yes! We love being able to show you everything your student has learned throughout the year with us. We try to schedule our end of year Showcase the last weekend of May. We offer multiple shows that run 75-90 minutes without intermission. Students taking one or two classes are often in the same show. Students taking more than 3 classes could potentially be in multiple shows. We announce our Showcase theme and dates in mid January and all Showcase information pertaining to your student will go home with you in late March.
